Have Questions About Reflexology Training?

Good. We have the answers!

Q1. What kind of Reflexology do you teach?

We offer certifications and continuing education classes in Foot, Hand, Face, and Ear Reflexology over Zoom and in-person.

Q2. What are the benefits of each kind of Reflexology?

Working on the feet, hands, face, and ears you reach all of the reflex areas that correspond to every part of the body, and:

  • Because the feet are largest, it is easier to reach the reflex areas to all of the organs and glands.

  • People often say the hands are the most relaxing.

  • Because the face is in close proximity to the brain, it’s very powerful.

  • The ears are most effective for pain management.

It’s ideal to learn and work on all – the feet, hands, face, and ears – for the best results.

Q4. Can I really learn Reflexology over Zoom?

We’ve been training and certifying students over Zoom for nearly two years, and we’ve seen just how effective this method of learning can be.

We’ve had many students who started in our in-person classes and then switched to our Zoom classes. They’ve told us that they came to prefer the Zoom classes and learned better over Zoom. Here’s why:

  • you study from the comfort of your own home

  • no travel time

  • no travel/hotel expenses

  • every student has a front-row seat as the instructor demos

  • the instructor can see your work more clearly and give feedback as they guide you step-by-step

  • you get to practice on someone you know

  • you get recordings of your one-on-one tutorials with your instructor

  • you feel very connected and supported

  • you can move among our morning/evening/weekend classes

Q5. How can I launch a career in Reflexology?

  1. Begin by completing our Premier Professional Reflexology Certification Program or one or more of our Laura Norman Foot, Hand, Face, and Ear Holistic Reflexology Certifications.

  2. As part of your certification training, you’ll be practicing on people outside of class for free. In our experience, these folks continue with you after you are certified, pay you, and start to spread the word!

  3. Make up a lot of business cards and share them.

  4. Speak at local organizations and association meetings like the Chamber of Commerce, BNI, Women’s and Men’s organizations, social and service organizations.

  5. Work at street fairs, corporate health fairs, health expos.

  6. Contact businesses – many have wellness and stress management programs and would welcome your skills.

  7. Affiliate with wellness centers, gyms/fitness centers, spas, salons, chiropractors, osteopaths, podiatrists, hospices, hospitals, nursing homes.

  8. Specialize – choose a specialty that speaks to you, such as working with women about pregnancy, infertility, women’s issues from PMS to menopause. Work with athletes, dancers, musicians, or another profession that interests you. Focus on back issues, weight management, headaches, stress management, end of life concerns.

  9. Offer packages, series of sessions, gift certificates.
